- How far in advance do I need to book?
All bookings are subject to availability. Your choice of centre and date may not always be available, but alternatives will always be offered. Try to book at least two weeks in advance to avoid disappointment.
- How many players do I need to bring?
There is no minimum or maximum requirement of players; any numbers are fine (although we may require a minimum of 20 players for a mid week game). You will be combined with other players on the day to make up a team.
- Can I play on a mid-week day?
Yes, at most centres you can, provided there is a minimum of 20 players in total booked for the day. We will notify you if there are not enough players to open a centre during the week.
- Do I have to use all my VIP tickets at once?
You are welcome to use any number of your tickets at your convenience.
- How can I buy more tickets?
Once you have purchased VIP tickets once in your life, you are entitled to this VIP price forever! That is, £6.25 for the ticket plus an additional £10.00 for the first 100 paintballs. Hence, the total cost will continue to be £16.25 per person. If you do not have a Membership number because you have never purchased VIP tickets previously, simply purchase the tickets online for the recommended price of £25.00 per ticket.

What is included in the cost of the VIP ticket?
Entry to any of the IPG approved paintball centres in the UK including: full protective head gear*, combat suit, commando battle pack, latest semi automatic machine gun, unlimited gas, and tea/coffee all day. (Note: All IPG approved paintball centres have full Public Liability Insurance).
* Except Edinburgh, Canterbury, Hadleigh and Thetford Forest where you will be provided with face masks.

What is NOT included in the cost of the VIP ticket?
Paintballs and pyrotechnics (smoke grenades and paint grenades) are NOT included; neither is food and drink (except tea and coffee which is free all day at most centres).
You will be required at the time of booking to pay for the first 100 paintballs for each player at a cost of £10.00 per person. Additional paintballs can be purchased on the day for £5.99 per 100 in bulk (a box of 2500 paintballs) or £6.99 per 100 in smaller quantities. Most centres also offer a bulk rate of £5.99 per 100 paintballs (when you purchase 2500 paintballs).
You can also purchase smoke and paint grenades at the centre (over 18yrs only).
- How many paintballs will I need?
There is no way of knowing how many paintballs any individual will use, as it depends on how trigger-happy you are. It is entirely up to each person how much they want to spend. After you pay for your first 100 paintballs to confirm your booking, you can then purchase additional paintballs at the centre throughout the day during the breaks between games.

-
Can I buy a bulk box instead of the first 100?
Unfortunately not. It is a term of the offer that the first 100 paintballs per person be purchased in advance at £10.00 per person.

I was not told about the £10.00 per person for the first 100 paintballs at the time I purchased the tickets.
All customers are required to sign the “How It Works” section on the back of the tickets. This outlines the full extent of the service that IPG will provide. The wording of the confirmation has been specifically approved by the Office of Fair Trading, at page 148 of its Unfair Contract Terms Guidance publication of February 2001. One is bound by what one signs.

Unfortunately not. All centres have a maximum number of players. All the equipment, catering, staffing and game plans are tailored to the number of people booked in to play.
- Can I use the paintballs if a player does not turn up on the day and I have already paid for them?
Unfortunately not. If anyone fails to attend the event on the date you have booked, the prepayment and paintballs for that person will be forfeited. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, at some centres, credits can be carried forward and used for a future visit.
- What food and drink is available at the centre?
At most centres a BBQ lunch can be purchased for £4.35 per person (this can be pre-ordered online at the time of booking, depending which centre you would like to visit). Free tea and coffee is usually provided all day. There is also a snack shop onsite at most centres where you can purchase chocolates, drinks, crisps, etc.

A full day session is 9.15am until approximately 4.00 – 4:30pm at most centres*.
* Arrival times vary at the Thetford Forest, Edinburgh, Canterbury and Hadleigh sites.

- Is paintball suitable for children?
Parents need to know about the nature of the activity and decide for themselves whether their particular child is hardy, and mature enough to participate in this type of activity. To help you with this, we have compiled an ‘Information for Parents’ guide, which can be downloaded here.
At most centres the minimum age to play is 11 years old. At some centres the minimum age is 12 years old (these centres are marked accordingly on the map on the locations page).
- Will my child be playing with adults?
We will try to join your group up with a similar age group, where possible. However, there are often groups of mixed ages (when parents like to play with their children, or there are also older siblings joining in etc).

On arrival, you will be greeted by our friendly staff, who will check you in. After you have filled out registration forms you will be kitted up with all the gear and have a safety briefing. Then the action starts! You will play 10-12 games during a full day session, with short breaks in between to reload your paintballs and discuss tactics!
- Do I need to fill out a registration form?
All players are required to complete a registration form before they begin play. -Back to Top-
- What do I need to bring on the day?
Players should wear old, comfortable clothing and may also want to bring a change of clothes. The most suitable footwear would be a light boot, but old trainers are most commonly worn. Gloves are available to buy at the centre, or you can bring your own. You may also want to bring some money for purchasing additional paintballs (we accept cash and credit/debit cards verified by PIN only).
- Can I bring my own paintball equipment?
You can bring your own equipment to the centre, but it is always at the discretion of the Centre Manager whether you can use it. You can bring your own goggles, provided they are designed for paintball games and have not been modified in any way. You can bring your own gun, but only if it can operate from the paintball centres’ canister and subject to a chronograph test. (We do NOT allow any customers’ own gas cylinders on site for ANY REASON). Use of any own equipment is solely at the discretion of the Centre Manager on the day.
- Can I bring my own paintballs?
Just like you can’t take your own alcohol to a pub, you cannot bring your own paintballs to the centre. You can only use paintballs issued by the Paintball Centre on the day of your event.
- Can we bring alcohol to the centre?
No alcohol is permitted on site. Any players who have been drinking will be excluded from the games and asked to leave the centre.
- What happens if it rains?
The games go ahead regardless, in all weather conditions. All the game zones are outdoors, but there are sheltered areas in the base camp where you can go between games.
