How do I book my paintball event?

Go to <a href="/book-now”>http://www.ipg.uk.net

IPG accepts payments made via Visa or MasterCard. Our secure online booking system is easy to use and keeps your personal information safe as we don’t retain card information. Once your booking is made, we will email you to confirm your event booking and issue you with all the the information you need prior to attending the centre.

How far in advance do I need to book?

To avoid disappointment we suggest you book at least two weeks in advance as all bookings are subject to availability. Your chosen centre and date may not always be available, but we will always offer a list of alternative dates to choose from.

How many people do I need to make a booking?

There is no minimum or maximum group size requirement to book a game – you can play paintball with any number of people or individually if you prefer (although we may require a minimum spend for your group to open up a centre – please enquire for specific centre requirements). Your group will be combined with other players to make up teams for the day but private games can be arranged for larger groups of 40+ people, or at an additional cost – please enquire for details.

Can my group play paintball mid-week?

At most national paintball centres you can play midweek providing the minimum spend requirement has been met. If the minimum spend requirement has not been made, unfortunately we are unable to open a centre mid-week. You will be advised at the time of booking if your desired centre is open, and an alternative will always be offered.

Do I need to use all my tickets in one go?

You may use as many tickets as you like in one visit and do not have to use all your tickets in one visit so there is the potential to go paintballing more than once while the tickets remain valid.

How can I purchase more IPG tickets?

You can contact your IPG ticket re-seller to buy more tickets using their contact details outlined on your IPG tickets. If you have not purchased tickets before and do not have a Membership Number then simply go online to purchase more tickets at the RRP of £300 per booklet of 10 tickets, or visit one of our many registered ticket re-sellers.

What does an IPG ticket provide?

A booklet of IPG tickets provides entrance and equipment hire for 10 players into any paintball centre represented by IPG in the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Canada or Australia. Your group will be issued with full head protection goggles*, body *, a battlepack, combat suit with a padded collar*, semi-automatic paintball gun, hopper and unlimited gas propellant refills. (Note: All IPG approved paintball centres have full Public Liability Insurance).

*We cannot guarantee full head protection goggles, body armour or overalls with padded collars at our local paintball centres.

What isn't included in the ticket?

Paintballs, pyrotechnics (flashbangs, smoke & paint grenades) and food and drink are not included in the cost of the tickets. Lunch can be purchased in advance, and snacks and refreshments are available from the on-site shop. Tea and coffee is free at most national paintball centres.

How much do paintballs cost?

Paintballs at national paintball centres cost £6.99 per 100 when bought in bulk quantities of 1000. If bought in smaller quantities they cost £7.99 per 100. Additional paintballs can be purchased from the shop at any time during the game day.

Please note: Prices may vary from national to local paintball centres.

How many paintballs will I need?

The number of paintballs required is completely dependent on how trigger-happy each player plans on being; there is no way of predicting how many paintballs any individual will use. On average, players at national paintball centre use between 400-600 paintballs. After your first 100 paintballs have been paid for to confirm your booking, you can buy more paintballs at the shop in the basecamp at any time during your event.

Can I buy a bulk box rather than the first 100?

As part of the terms and conditions, it is a requirement that players purchase the first 100 paintballs at a cost of £9.99 per person before the day of their event – no other arrangement can be made.

Can I pay for my booking on the day?

Unfortunately not. Each IPG paintball centre has limited capacity and player numbers need to be confirmed prior to the game day in order to organise equipment, catering arrangements and player teams and marshalling staff.

If someone in my group does not turn up on the day can I use their paintballs?

Sadly not. If any player does not turn up on the day of your event, then the prepayment and paintballs for that player will be forfeited. However, at most national IPG paintball centres we can arrange for credits to be carried forward and used to book a future visit. All payments are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Is there food and drink available at the centre?

Most IPG centres offer a freshly cooked lunch service for under £5.00 per person. Lunch can be pre-ordered when making your booking, depending on which centre you choose for your event. Most centres have an on-site shop which sells a selection of refreshments and snacks.

How long does the day last?

A paintball day at a national IPG centre lasts from 09:15 until between 16:00-16:30 (arrival and departure times may vary at some local paintball centres). In winter months the day may finish at approximately 15:30 – 16:00.

Is paintball a suitable activity for children?

We recommend that parents have an understanding of the nature of paintballing in order to make their own minds up about whether or not paintball may be suitable for their child. To help parents understand the comprehensive series of precautions our staff undertake to keep participants safe at all times during the games, we have put together an “Information for Parents” guide which can be downloaded from this website. Children as young as 8 have been playing paintball with IPG for years because parents and youth group organisers recognise that our safety standards and practices are so high.

How old do you have to be to play paintball?

The minimum age to play paintball at an IPG centre ranges from 8-10 years of age; depending on the location chosen. At national centres the minimum age ranges from 8-10 years, and for most local centres, the minimum age is usually 12 years old – these centres are marked on the map featured on the locations page.

Do my children play with adults?

Our aim is to join children’s groups with other similarly aged and similarly experienced groups wherever possible. However, groups are often made up of mixed ages as some parents like to join in with their kids, older brothers and sisters etc.

What will happen on the day at a national centre?

Upon arrival at 09.15, you will be welcomed by a team of marshalling staff and they will guide you through the registration process. After completing registration forms, your group will be issued with the set of paintball equipment needed for your day. Prior to the games, there is a compulsory safety briefing which covers everything you need to know about paintball safety and then the action really starts! You will experience 12-14 paintball games over the course of the day with short breaks in between to reload and refuel. There is a lunch break at approximately 13.00 and the game day finishes up after the awards ceremony at 16:00-16:30. For more information about what happens at a local centre, please call our booking team on 0844 326 7065.

Do I have to complete a registration form?

Each customer is required to complete a registration form before they can play paintball at our national centres. All players under 16 years are required to have a Parental Consent Form signed by a parent or guardian; we suggest these forms are sent out with your invitations. Other parents should return their completed forms to the group organiser for them to bring to the centre on the day of your event. Everyone also has the option to complete their registration forms on the morning of your event.

What should I bring with me?

We recommend players wear comfortable, old clothing and bring a change of clothes for the end of the day (personal belongings can be stored in the lockers we rent for a small fee). It’s strongly recommended that you wear waterproof boots with ankle support and good grip – it can be muddy in the games. Some customers may choose comfort over safety and wear wellington boots as it can be wet in the woodland. Armoured gloves can be bought from the on-site shop for £6.99 per pair but you are welcome to bring your own. We accept both cash and Pin verified cards for food and extra paintballs.

Am I allowed to bring my own equipment?

Players are welcome to bring certain items of their own paintball equipment to the centre but it is always at the centre manager’s discretion whether or not you can use it. You may bring goggles, but only if they have been manufactured specifically for paintball games and have not been altered in any way. You can bring your own gun but it must be able to be operated using the gas canisters provided at our centres, and you can only use it if you have arranged a private game. All paintball guns are subject to a chronograph test before use. We do not allow players to bring their own gas or bottles on site for any reason.

Am I allowed to bring my own paintballs?

In the same way that you can’t bring your own alcohol into a pub, players cannot bring their own paintballs to an IPG paintball centre. Only paintballs sold on site can be used on the day of your event and players found using their own will be ejected from the centre.

What is the recommended footwear for paintball?

We strongly recommend that players wear sturdy boots with ankle support and good grip as it can get muddy and slippery out in the game zones.

Can I drink alcohol at the venue?

We don’t allow alcohol use on site. Any players found to be under the influence will be excluded from the games without refund and asked to leave the centre for their own safety.

What if it rains?

Paintball events go ahead regardless of any inclement weather conditions (except in very extreme circumstances, in which case you will be notified). Paintball games take place outdoors but most centres offer sheltered seating areas in the base camp. Players may like to wear a thin layer of waterproof clothing under the combat suit issued on the day

The IPG tickets I purchased have expired or are about to. Can I still use them?

Please contact IPG either by phone on 0844 326 7065 or via the form on the ‘Contact Us’ page to discuss your options.

The centre I would like to use is closed/hasn’t opened yet. What should I do?

The locations of paintball centres are subject to change for reasons outside of our control so the location map is purely a guide. We will always offer you the closest possible alternative venues should your first choice be unavailable. IPG undertakes to maintain a minimum of 10 paintball centres within the UK and Ireland.

Are IPG tickets refundable?

Every IPG ticket comes with a seven day satisfaction guarantee so if you are not happy with your purchase you can get a refund within seven days of purchasing the tickets. To apply for a refund, simply write to IPG at 57 Broadway Court, Wimbledon, London, SW19 1RG. Refund requests must be sent via the post and please include your full details, vouchers and tickets. Please make sure that you send your refund request with the correct postage to ensure your letter arrives within seven days of purchase. If we do not receive the letter in time, you may not be entitled to a refund. Using a traceable postal service with a tracking number is recommended as you will be responsible for the items until we receive them at the above address.

IPG processes refunds on behalf of independent IPG resellers so they can incur admin fees; refunds can take up to 21 working days to be processed. Please note that once this 7 day refund period has passed, the terms and conditions of the IPG ticket will constitute a legally binding contract and it will not be possible to refund the cost of your tickets. We also reserve the right to return items that have been sent to us outside of the seven day period.

How can I contact IPG?
